主要从事水处理技术、催化材料与应用、分析科学等方面的研究工作。完成教育部科学技术研究重点项目一项，辽宁省教育厅课题4项，企业横向课题两项。在Analytical Sciences， Chemical Research In Chinese Universities，Journal Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry，分析化学、光谱学与光谱分析、化工学报等国内外重要学术期刊上发表被SCI、EI检索收录论文二十余篇。完成发明专利一项。
